artist statement
I am a visual artist based in Oxford. I design and facilitate welcoming and creative environments for communities of all ages to engage with creative learning and open-ended play. I make paintings, drawings, and digital animations with an interest in storytelling and ornamentation. My studio practice has roots in my childhood in the American South and formative experiences in the nature of the Carolinas.
